Ho’oponopono can be a beautiful way to harmonize slower vibrations in your (sub-) conscious field and an empowering tool to support your manifestations. In this blog I will first share more about what Ho’oponopono is and then dive into the connection with manifestation.
Origine of Ho’oponopono
Ho’oponopono has been practiced in Hawaii for centuries and is a central part of the Hawaiian culture and spirituality. It was originally used as a way to resolve conflicts between individuals and families, but has since evolved into a personal practice that can be used to improve all areas of one's life.
The benefits of practicing Ho’oponopono are many. For one, it can help reduce stress and anxiety by allowing us to let go of negative thoughts and emotions. It can also improve our relationships with others by helping us to see things from a different perspective and to forgive those who have hurt us. Ho’oponopono can be a beautiful way to improve our overall well-being by helping us to take responsibility for our own lives and to focus on the positive aspects of our experiences. It can give you an empowering feeling to know that you hold a key to bring change not only in your own life but also of those around you and beyond.
What does the word Ho’oponopono mean
The word Ho’oponopono is made up of different parts with different meanings.

The 4 phrases of Ho’oponopono
The four phrases are: “I love you,” “I’m sorry,” “Please forgive me,” and “Thank you.” These phrases are repeated silently or out loud, either directed towards someone else or towards the universe as a whole, with the intention of releasing negative emotions, thoughts, and experiences.
The practice of Ho’oponopono is based on the belief that everything that happens in our lives is a result of our own thoughts and beliefs. This means that even negative experiences and relationships are a reflection of something within ourselve that needs to be harmonized for things to shift. By repeating the four phrases, we take responsibility for our thoughts and experiences and actively work to harmonize them.
Ho’oponopono as a tool for manifestation
I want to make a quick connection to your subconscious field here, and in my book Activating the Flower of Love we go more in-depth into this and you can find empowering tools to bring these energies back into harmony. In your subconscious field, you will find the programming created while growing up and also programming that you could have collected from family lineauges, collective fields and even past lifetimes.
Your subconscious field is also constantly sending out a certain vibration, that then attracts certain experiences into your life, going back to the Law of Attraction. Which teaches us that the vibration we send out is also what we will receive, or in other words. you need to be a vibrational match to your manifestation desire for it to come your way. If you desire to manifest beauty, it asks of you to send out the vibration of beauty.
Ho’oponopono to harmonize energies out of your subconscious field
Ho’oponopono can be used to heal past traumas and to overcome negative patterns and beliefs, harmonizing the energies in your subconsious field. By repeating the four phrases and taking responsibility for your experiences, you can release negative experiences and emotions that are holding you back, and create a new, positive reality for yourselves.
For example to explain this in a simple way, let say you have been consiously sending out the vibration of beauty for a couple of weeks now, but you are not seeing any changes happening in your life, it might be that your subconsious field is sending out a different vibration than the one of beauty without you knowing it. Ho’oponopono can be a beautiful empowering tool to support you to harmonize these vibrations in your subconconsious field. Creating a cohesive message that your conconsious and subconconsious sends out.
We are all connected
One of the key principles of Ho’oponopono is that we are all connected, and that our thoughts and actions have a direct impact on others and on the world around us. By practicing Ho’oponopono, we can actively work to improve not only our own lives, but also the lives of those around us.
The great thing about Ho’oponopono is that you don’t ‘need anyone else’ to help you, it is something you can do yourself to change an experience, situation, or relationship. Suppose you have a “negative” relationship with a family member, then you can take responsibility for improving this relationship by applying Ho’oponopono. As you consciously choose to shift the energy in your field, you will also attract other experiences in your life.
You can even inwardly share the four phrases while in a difficult conversation, to immediately harmonize the frequencies.
This can be very empowering, it is you choosing to take responsibility for your life, your growth and expansion, so that you can manifest the life you deeply desire.
It is important to note that Ho’oponopono is not a quick fix or a magic solution. It requires time, effort, and a commitment to change. However, for those who are willing to make the effort, the benefits can be profound. By taking responsibility for our own thoughts and experiences, and letting go of negative emotions and experiences, we can create a more positive and fulfilling life for ourselves and those around us.
