Negative self-talk can be a toxic and vicious cycle that can negatively impact our confidence, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Negative self-talk refers to the repetitive and unhelpful thoughts and beliefs we have about ourselves that often result in self-criticism and self-doubt.
In your empowering journey of growth and manifestation, it is an important aspect to become aware off. Because as you journey towards the manifestation of your goals, the negative self-belief that has 'prevented' you from manifesting your desire instantly, will come up for you to transform into Love and Oneness.
Awareness around this is a powerful key so that the moment you notice a negative self-talk (pattern) coming up, you can choose to shift this 'negative' belief from its root so it does not limit you in the future. Instead of seeing it as inconvenient or something you need to push away, it is discovering the wisdom within so you can grow and expand even more. A process of harmonizing your field, going from resistance into flow in the direction you desire.
And remember, it is because you are choosing to grow, these old patterns come up for you to see, acknowledge, love, and transform.
It starts with AWARENESS.
By becoming aware of a negative thought pattern and making a conscious effort to shift, we can transform negative self-talk and build confidence in our inner empowering positive voice, that supports us on our evolutionary journey.
Identifying Negative Self-Talk
The first step in transforming a negative self-talk pattern is to become aware of when and how it occurs. As shared before most changes and transformations start with the power of awareness, the moment we are aware we can choose to do something different! We can then choose to shift from limitation into love and posibilities!
Some examples of negative self-talk are “I’m not good enough”, “I’ll never be successful”, “I always make mistakes”, "I'm not smart enough", "I'm unlovable" or
"I'm not worthy of happiness". Pay attention to when these thoughts arise and how they make you feel.
The Origin of Negative Self-Talk: How Childhood Experiences Shape Our Thoughts.
Most negative self-talk is programmed from childhood experiences, beliefs, and perceptions that we internalize and carry with us into adulthood. Our childhood experiences shape our beliefs and values, and often influence the way we think and talk to ourselves.
For example, if a child is constantly criticized or told they are not good enough, they may internalize this message and continue to believe it as they grow older. Additionally, negative self-talk can also be learned through observing and mimicking the behavior of those around us, such as parents, teachers, and people in our community. It's important to recognize that negative self-talk is a learned behavior, it is not your essence, and it can be changed with awareness, healing and self-reflection.
Sometimes negative self-talk patterns can even be programmed through family-lineauges, coming from the collective field or even past lifetimes.
By becoming aware of our thought patterns and working to shift them, we can break free from negative self-talk and build a positive and empowering inner voice towards the manifestatios of our goals.
If we desire change, it starts with Awareness!
Reframe Your Thoughts
Once you’ve become aware of a negative self-talk pattern, it’s time to shift it. Ask yourself, “Is this thought really true?”, "Is this thought supporting and loving" and “Is there any evidence that contradicts this thought?” Often, our negative self-talk is based on past experiences or personal beliefs that are not necessarily accurate. By reframing our thoughts and questioning their validity, we can start to break free from negative self-talk and develop a more positive inner voice.
As you deepen your connection with your inner voice, you will discover it is always loving and supportive.
Practice Positive Self-Talk
A beautiful first step you can take to shift a negative self-talk pattern can already be creating positive, affirmations and self-encouragement that are the opposite of the negative thoughts. These could include things like, “I am capable,” “I am worthy,” and “I am deserving of happiness and success.” You can then repeat these affirmations to yourself each day, either out loud or in your head. With time, you will notice that this positive self-talk will become more automatic, helping you to build a stronger positive inner voice. Sometimes the roost of these negative self-talk patterns are so deep, it may ask some extra support.
In my book Activating the Flower of Love it so beautiful explains how weeds in our inner garden can influence our manifestations and the transmissions journey within this book supports you to clear out the root of these weeds so that your inner garden is in alignement with your deepest desires and highest calling.
Surround Yourself with Support
Having a supportive network of friends, family, and loved ones can also help you to counteract negative self-talk. Surround yourself with people who lift you up and encourage you to be the best version you can be and that support the manifestations of your goals, rather than those who contribute to negative self-talk or self-doubt. You can seek out mentors and role models who embody the positive qualities and values you admire, and allow their positivity to inspire and encourage you.
Focus on Your Strengths
It can be easy to get caught up in negative self-talk and forget about all the things that make you unique and special. Another beautiful tool can be to take a conscious moment each day to focus on your strengths, your superpowers, and the things you do well. At the end of the day you can write down three things you did well that day, no matter how small. This will help shift your focus from negative self-talk to positive self-reflection and help build a stronger empowering inner voice.
Take Care of Yourself
While you choose to grow and expand, and shift your negative self-talk into empowered inner knowing, it is important to nourish yourself (it is always important, but especially in these transformational times). As you are transforming limiting beliefs, that sometimes have been with you since childhood, it asks a lot of energy. Take good care of your physical, mental, and emotional body. Engage in regular physical activity, spend time in nature, meditate, dance, journal, eat a healthy and balanced diet, and get enough sleep. Take breaks when you need them, and prioritize self-care activities that bring you joy and relaxation.
And to close this share, for now, a beautiful supportive tool is gratitude. Because when you consiously focus on the abundance and positive aspects that are already in your life that can help you shift the negative self-talk and build a strong inner voice. You can choose to close your day with writing down three things you are grateful. Where you place your attention on will grow, lets focus on gratitude and more to be grateful for will come into your live.
It is a journey of deep re-membering, of coming home within yourself, to Love and Oneness and awakening the SuperPowers you have to create the life you deeply desire!
You have got this beautiful soul, start with awareness.
